Janet brings a refreshing, real-life perspective to
the firm and believes the greatest compliment she receives is “you don’t act
like a lawyer.” As a
single mother, she raised four children while working her way through law
school. An advocate by nature, Janet takes a personal approach to protecting
the rights of her clients in the stressful, emotionally charged atmosphere of a
lawsuit.
Before forming Strong Law, Janet worked for a
well-respected law firm downtown, concentrating on family law. She gained
valuable experience in personal injury, property damage, and insurance defense.
She is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, in the United States
District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and in the U.S.
Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
When not lawyering, Janet enjoys yoga, walking her
three dogs, trips to Santa Fe, and listening to the Ticket, sports talk radio.
Janet earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from Baylor University and earned her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law.
It is critical you get us
involved early. It is easy to assume
that you really don’t need a lawyer or maybe not one just yet. We see situation after situation that could
have been significantly improved or avoided altogether, had we been involved
earlier.
How can we help you?
Thank you
